I had some nut-allergy concerns and it was so refreshing to talk through it with Diane rather than getting the standard 'no guarantee there wont be cross-contamination' line that I got from a number of businesses. She verified ingredients, assured me of her work space and equipment cleaning practices and I felt confident the cake would be safe for all the guests to enjoy.
However, it was the stunning craftmanship and decadence of the finished product that blew everyone away! The cake, filling and icing were melt-in-your-mouth fantastic and the design was impeccable, which is especially impressive since I gave no theme or expectation to Diane when I ordered it. The photos on the Holy Cannoli website are incredible, but I am so indecisive, aside from flavor, filling and frosting, I offered little in the way of specifics and the end result WOW'd the guests, both children and parents, and most importantly the birthday boys! Being somewhat new to the area, I am so thrilled to have found our go-to baker and I am looking forward to trying the petit fours and cannolis as well!February 15, 2017
